Levels Program

Level I: Safety by Commitment
     Entry level will get you started and show your commitment to safety. There are no 'miles' requirements to enroll in level I. All you need to do is fill out form N-7 and have it validated by your chapter or district educator. You can also apply to receive a Safe Miles Pin for each 5,000 Safe Miles increment you have ridden since joining GWRRA. Cost for level I with chapter CA1F is $5.00 to CA1F Associates.

Level II: Safety by Education - Tour Rider/Co-Rider Education
     Be enrolled in level I (you can do both at the same time) and have at least 5,000 safe miles since joining GWRRA. M/C License or Endorsement on your drivers license if required in your state. California does have this requirement. Have taken an approved rider course within the last three years. Co-Riders do not need the M/C license and can take the Approved Rider Course or Co-Rider Seminar within the last three years. Cost for level II will be taken care of by chapter CA1F for CA1F Associates.

Level III: Safety by Preparedness - Certified Tour Rider/Co-Rider
     You must be enrolled in level I and be current in Level II (you can do all three at the same time). You will need to have a valid M/C License or Endorsement if required in your state. California does have this requirement. Be current CPR or First Aid Provider. Have taken an approved rider course within the last three years. Co-Riders do not need the M/C license and can take the approved rider course or Co-Rider Seminar within the last three years. Cost for level III will be taken care of by chapter CA1F for CA1F Asociates.

Level IV - Master Tour Rider Enhanced Commitment & Preparedness.
     Eligible after being at Level III for 1 year and having a minimum of 25,000 Safe Miles. Must be current in both First Aid and CPR by attending class within the last three years. Must carry First Aid kit on motorcycle and wear protective clothing. Cost: as per form N-9. Patch is uniquely numbered.

Masters are eligible to attend Master’s Breakfast at all District, Region and National events.
Annual renewal in January. No renewal fee. (Send $2 if renewal pin is desired.) Use form N-9 to apply for level IV.

Master Recognition Requires continuous annual renewal at Level IV
5 years for Senior Master,
10 Years for Grand Master and
15 or more for Life Grand Master.
One time fee of $2 for each patch at time of application.
